New Goal: Retire at age 32

P7050037

Im starting now. Planning for retirement. I think it would be a sick goal to retire at age 32 to have a long time to do cool things before I eventually get bored and probably start working again at age 35. So maybe it will be more like an extended vacation. Either way I plan to live it up.

How will I do this?
It’s simple, I need to invent something cool, start a movement and make money off it, or somehow plant a money tree in my back yard. I am leaning towards inventing something cool. I have some smart friends and I am very confident that we can come up with something. No way am I going to work 9-5 for the rest of my life. It’s not my style and its not what my generation will do. I want to be money rich and time rich. So far I am on my way :)

Who’s with me?

Sounds like a very lofty goal! You will probably need to amass at least 3 million dollars in the next 7 years ($20,000+ a month) and invest it wisely to produce enough income to retire for 50+ years (if you actually never went back to work) but it could theoretically be done. Especially once you invent something super cool!

Ok so it can be done. I just need to get on the ball and make a money machine that produces 20k a month.

    Thanks for the fast math!

Here’s the thing. I like my job, and I like working on projects. I just don’t want to be tied down to working 9-5 every week. Id like to be able to work 16 hours days if I choose, or work zero hours. If I “retire” at 32. I would freelance probably or work on my own projects.
